Module Purpose

To provide students with the understanding of the nature of electrical hazards and the need for qualified persons to work on electrical equipment.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this training, the Participant will be able to -

  •   Recognise the potential dangers of electrical hazards.
  •   Understand the need for only qualified persons to work on electrical equipment.
  •   Recognise problems with electrical equipment.

Assessment method

Can be either discussion or multiple choice/short answers as required.

Nil

Special requirements

Various faulty items are demonstrated.
