Module Purpose

To provide the Participant with an understanding of the wide variety of chemicals in use.  Also to understand the correct use and protection needed in the use of chemicals.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this training, the Participant will be able to -

•   Recognise the different types of chemicals.
•   Understand the effects of various chemicals.
•   Know the safer ways of handling chemicals.
•   Short and long term effects on the body.

Can be either discussion or multiple choice/short answers as required.
