Module Purpose

To provide the Participant with an understanding of the duty of care under the relevant legislation and common law as pertaining to general staff.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this training, the Participant will be able to -

•   Be aware of how the relevant legislative Acts affect their responsibilities with   
    respect to their duty of care in the workplace.
•   Be aware of the various controlling factors.
•   Understand the levels of responsibility of duty of care.

Assessment method

Can be either discussion or multiple choice/short answers as required.
