OHSE15B – Duty of Care for Management

Module Purpose

To provide the Participant with an understanding of the duty of care under the relevant legislation and common law as pertaining to management staff within an organisation.

Relationship to competency standards

None specific.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this training, the Participant will be able to -

  •   Understand the relevant Acts.
  •   Understand the various controlling factors.
  •   Understand the levels of responsibility of duty of care.

Assessment method

Can be either discussion or multiple choice/short answers as required.

Nil

Special requirements

Can be 'customised' to suit the level of staff involved.
